종각역에는 많은 외국어 학원과 유학준비 학원이 있다.

나는 프랑스어를 배우러 종각역을 왔다 갔다 하면서

지하철 계단에서 엎드린 노숙자를 마주쳤다.

그 노숙자의 앞에는 동전 바구니가 있었고,

그 옆에는 샌드위치와 음료수가 놓여있었다.

그 모습과 프랑스어가 늘지 않는 내 모습이 겹쳐보이면서

불안감이 더 커졌다.

그런 시기에 그린 유화 그림을 포토샵으로 수정한 그림이다.

There are many foreign language institutes and study abroad preparation institutes in Jonggak Station.

I went to and from Jonggak Station to learn French.

I met a homeless man lying on the subway stairs.

A basket of coins was in front of the homeless man, Next to it were sandwiches and drinks.

As I saw the overlap between that image and my lack of French skills, The anxiety grew.

This is a painting I drew during that time.
